After the KCWC, I decided to move on to non-clothes sewing like bags and dolls. This is one of the bag that I've sewn up for my girl.
It's quite simple. Cut 2 pieces each of U shape fabric for inner and outer layer and add a strip of ruffle to cover the raw edge of the front fabric. I love the cute ribbon in front.

The pattern is from a Japanese book called Sewing Daily clothes for Kids. I love this book cause the clothes are more down to earth and really easy to sew. More to come...
